I know it’s trite for a product person to quote Steve Jobs but one of my favorites is:
When you’re a carpenter making a beautiful chest of drawers, you’re not going to use a piece of plywood on the back, even though it faces the wall and nobody will ever see it.
I think about that one every few days when I see these dead iTunes apps that I can’t delete on our Apple TV. It’s been almost 2 years and they left the plywood solution front facing 😔
