I made one for iJFP. They have to be 16 x 16 pixels and I think it's limited to 256 colors. We can make a favicon based off a higher-res logo for The Blogulution. However, whatever processing a favicon goes through between a square bitmap and a little picture on the top of your web browser renders it more of a series of dots. Also, while the favicon appears gray, the bitmap from which it originates is blue. Hmmm. Good call on the logo – that’d be bragable.
